Grades 1-2

Intro:

The following two lists are divided by each grade level. Whithin each, the books begin with Easy Readers to Beginning Chapter Books in the Intermediate section of the library. Easy Readers are great for learning new words and are the first step for reading. The intermediate books are for children who are doing well beyond the reading level of an easy reader. Most of the choices are the first book in a series. We hope that these will help your child’s reading. The lists were compiled from other lists of recommended books. If you cannot find what you are looking for, don’t be afraid to ask a librarian.
