Check It Out!
Did you know that the Utah State Parks have partenered with libraries to provide free annual passes?
Use your library card, check out an annual pass, pack a picninc, and take a trip to one or more of the 42 state parks!
The pass may be requested at the Library, and allows the user to free day-use admittance to most Utah state parks and discounted camping fees. These passes have been made possible by the Utah Department of Natural Resources in conjunction with their Reach Out and Connect Kids In Nature program (ROCKIN’ Utah). The goal is to provide opportunities for and encourage children and families to explore the natural world.
To maximize the opportunity to use these passes, the library has decided to create a reservation process for it’s use. This process will allow people to plan a trip and have a pass available at the time they want to use it.
If you are interested in using a State Parks pass, please call or come into the library and make your request.
