The Salem City Library houses more than 19,000 books and non-print items, with 58,000 items checked out annually.
The Adults/Teen/Children’s Collection has over 18,000 books, including a reference section, current and classical fiction, and large print books. The periodicals area has local newspapers. Internet service, including Wi-Fi is available in this area, as well as access to many databases for Utah history, science, and literature.
The Media Collection has over 1,100 videos and DVDs, including contemporary films, old-time favorites, PBS series, TV series, and instructional videos. The very popular books on CD provide abridged and unabridged readings of contemporary fiction and non-fiction, as well as classic literature.
